Rental Terms and Conditions

The Lessee shall provide the Lessor with a deposit in the amount of 30 EUR, which shall be refunded by the Lessor upon the return of the bicycle. The deposit guarantees that the bicycle will be returned to the Lessor in the same condition in which it was handed over to the Lessee. In the event that the bicycle is damaged, the Lessor has the right to retain the deposit.

The Lessee is not permitted to sublease the bicycle that is the subject of this agreement.

RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE LESSOR

The Lessor is obliged to provide and hand over to the Lessee a bicycle in good technical working order, describing its condition prior to handing it over to the Lessee.

RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE LESSEE

The Lessee is obliged to pay the rental price and the deposit upon renting the bicycle, as well as to inspect the bicycle before using it.

The responsibility for how the bicycle is used and for compliance with traffic regulations under the Road Traffic Act lies entirely with the Lessee. The Lessee also bears full responsibility for any damage caused to themselves or to third parties during and in connection with the operation of the bicycle that is the subject of this agreement.

In the event of total loss of the bicycle as a result of an accident, theft, or misappropriation from the Lessee’s possession, the Lessee shall pay the Lessor the full value of the bicycle. In this scenario, the Lessor will not refund the deposit provided under Article 3 above; instead, the deposit amount will be offset against the price mentioned in the preceding sentence.

The Lessee is also liable for any damage to the bicycle caused by their fault. The Lessee is not liable for normal wear and tear of the bicycle.
